Ever since I started using the WWW (World Wide Web) in 1993 I knew about the backspace key to go back to the previous page you were viewing. Occasionally, I would go to the previous page using the backspace key, only to later want to go forward to the original page I was reading. I had to pick up my hand from the keyboard, find the mouse and then click the forward button in the upper left hand of the web browser.

I finally found out you don't have to use the mouse to do this!!! Just use the alt-left combination. That is, hold down the alt key and press the left-arrow key. This also works for alt-right if you don't want to use the backspace key.
